The West Coast Junior Livestock Series is operated under and by the California Youth Livestock Association. Youth from any U.S state can participate in the West Coast Junior Livestock Series (WCJLS). 

Junior Livestock shows in the following states can sanction with the West Coast Junior Livestock Series:

Arizona

California

Idaho

Nevada

Oregon

Washington

Under the West Coast Junior Livestock Series, membership of the point series will be available by species. Membership will be broken down by 4 species (Beef, Hogs, Goats & Sheep). Initial species registration will be $25.00, after that each additional species will be an add on of $10.00. Memberships will run from Jan. 1st to December 31st of the current year. 

Registration for the WCJLS can be found online on the Showman.app under Show Series. From there you will select the West Coast Junior Livestock Series by CYLA and proceed with registration. If payment is not received with an application or payment does not clear the bank, membership will not be activated. ** Please note you must use the same log-in account all year to calculate points.**

Year-end awards will be given to participants that accumulate the greatest number of points in a given year in each species, broken down by species breeds or weight divisions (goats) and showmanship (Novice, Junior, Intermediate and Senior).

Age divisions are as follows as of January 1st 2024: Novice (4-8), Junior (9-12), Intermediate (13-16) and Senior (17-21).
